Dublin 1979. Maeve is nearly 14, and still doesn't wear a bra. Her best pals Ruth, Claire and Orla think this has to be changed as Maeve hasn’t been kissed yet either, and perhaps, a bra might help her to finally get a boyfriend. But suddenly it seems that the curly-haired 16-year-old heartthrob Brian could be interested…

Becoming a woman is a lot harder than expected. The spirited film 32 A by the Irish director Marian Quinn was screened in section Generation 14plus at the International Film Festival Berlin 2008 and won the award for the Best First Feature Film at the Galway Film Fleadh and the Tiernan MacBride International Screenwriting Award.
