WAITING FOR THE CLOUDS award winning in Istanbul
WAITING FOR THE CLOUDS has won the Special Jury Award in the national competition of the International Film Festival Istanbul (10.-25.04.2004) "for being successful in cinematographically fitting a historical tragedy into the personal world of a woman".
Furthermore, the Award for Best Actress went to Rüçhan Çaliskur for "successfully and thoroughly sustaining the film".
