Saarbrücken: Hallesche Kometen (The Halle Comets) awarded
At this year's film festival Max-Ophüls-Preis, which took place from January 17th to 23rd 2005 in Saarbrücken, Hallesche Kometen (The Halle Comets) by Susanne Irina Zacharias received the award of the Saarland premier.
Excerpt from the statement of the jury:
“(...)Wonderful direction of the actors, unpredictable script, no showing-off, life in danger yet full of hope. This film needs to be released in our movie theaters. (...)³
