KHAMOSH PANI SILENT WATERS awardwinning again
Kirron Kher has won the award for Best Actress at the Cape Town World Cinema Festival (November 14-23, 2003) for her mainrole in KHAMOSH PANI SILENT WATERS. This is her second international award this year after the "Leopard" at the Locarno Film Festival.
The Cape Town World Cinema Festival encompasses films from Africa, Asia and South America in the context of other "World Cinema" films. Each editon offers a spezial focus on films from specific regions.

Furthermore KHAMOSH PANI SILENT WATERS has won the Silver Montgolfier as well as the Audience Award at the 25th Festival Des 3 Continents in Nantes (France, Nov 25 Dec 2, 2003).
The Festival Des 3 Continents unites directors from Asia, Latin America and Africa, showcasing their films both as part of a competition and through related thematic series.
