KHAMOSH PANI ­ SILENT WATERS picked up three awards at the KaraFilm Festival (December 12-21, 2003) in Karachi, Pakistan ­ Best Actress (Kirron Kher), Best Screenplay (Paromita Vohra) and the Special Jury Award for the film itself.
